Growing, Drying & Processing Nasturtium from my Home Herb Garden

Welcome to my 518 sqm urban garden!

I grow herbs, fruit and vegetables in a suburban backyard in New Zealand. The chickens and the bees keep things interesting.

At this time of the year, the Nasturtium (Tropaeolum majus) is growing abundantly in my garden. It’s a natural ground cover (and fence climber!) and I allow it to grow rampantly behind and across my vegetable beds and under my fruit trees.

Come walk with me in the garden as I harvest some leaves, show you what is (and isn’t growing) at this time of the year and then take you inside to dry and process the leaves.

Questions for you: Have you ever thought about growing and harvesting your own herbs?

If you enjoy this video, please give it a thumbs up and consider subscribing to my fledgling channel. Thank you so much!

If you're interested in knowing more about how you can use herbs and weeds from your garden--or even how to grow them--email me from the contact page on the website with "weed wisdom" in the comments section and I'll get right back to you.

Love & Lettuce,

Toni xx
