February in our Urban Garden / Food Forest

Welcome to my garden!

Lots of people have asked me to share what we're doing on our small 518sqm urban garden--so here you go.

The garden isn't perfect (and it's never going to be) but we're loving the process of turning our urban back yard into a productive and plentiful food forest.

There's bees and chickens and fruit and vegetables and my favourite herbs and flowers for salads.

The peach trees are laden with peaches and the apples are coming along nicely. By this time of year we've well and truly harvested our plums and we have loads of fruit and vegetables ready for the freezer.

Questions for you: Have you ever thought about doing away with your lawn and planting an abundance of fruits and vegetables?

Love,
